July 4th, 2009 Event Information Join us as we celebrate our nation's birthday on Saturday, July 4, 2009. The celebration will begin with a 5K Run, Prayer Breakfast, and Red White and Blue Parade followed by a Talent Show, contests, carnival and day long entertainment, followed by a dynamic fireworks display. "One Nation Under God" Prayer Breakfast The Laurel Chamber of Commerce will be holding a prayer breakfast on Saturday, July 4, 2009. It will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Georgia House on Delaware Avenue. Tim Dukes will be the speaker for the morning with musical ministry by Bruce and Nancy Willey. Tickets donated by Biff Lee, 40th Representational District. The cost for each ticket is $12.00. You may pick your tickets up at the Laurel Chamber office in downtown Laurel.
