Commercial Redevelopment The Laurel Redevelopment Corporation (LRC) is a private, nonprofit corporation with its primary focus the redevelopment of the creekside and commercial core of downtown Laurel. The organization is active in establishing public parks and greenways, renovating commercial properties, and constructing new commercial buildings in its successful Laureltown Center along Broad Creek. New LRC commercial buildings are now home to 10 growing entrepreneurial businesses, including the new RJ Riverside Restaurant, an upscale dining experience with a casual outdoor deck, a warm neighborhood pub, and banquet facilities.
